The Yeppoon Lagoon is a free, family-friendly resort-style lagoon pool at the southern end of the Yeppoon foreshore.
Located right below The Rocks waterfront Café, Bar and Restaurant, it’s the ideal spot for the kids to splash and play while you get a bit of serenity in the shade. With 2500 square metres of pool and an infinity edge that overlooks the ocean and out across to the islands of Keppel Bay, a swim at the lagoon is a unique and safe way to get close to nature and soak up the best views in town.
The lagoon is patrolled by lifeguards 7 days a week (including public holidays) and offers a separate shallow children’s play area (with jets of water and deep shade) as well as swimming options for adults and older kids. The lagoon is perfect for a family outing, surrounded by parkland and shady spots as well as all the tasty convenience of The Rocks Milk Bar, Café, Restaurant and Bar.
In summer, the lagoon is open from 6am to 9pm (September to April) and 8am to 6pm the rest of the year.
